History of Torre Glories
Torre Glòries, formerly known as Torre Agbar, was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel and completed in 2005. Its colorful facade, made of 56,000 aluminum slats and glass louvers, mimics a water fountain and changes hues with sunlight and illumination at night. Mirador Torre Glories is open daily with varying hours depending on the season:
- April 1 – October 31: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- November 1 – March 31: Wednesday to Monday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (closed Tuesdays)
- Closed: December 25 and January 1
Tickets allow a 50-minute visit including access to the panoramic viewing platform. Entry is allowed up to 1 hour before closing, and visitors are asked to arrive no more than 10 minutes before their time slot to avoid queues. Tickets must be kept for re-validation on exit and do not allow re-entry.
